FAQ

  1. Can my business set up a booth at Oktoberfest?
Montrose Oktoberfest is not a traditional vendor fair and does not offer general vendor booth spaces where businesses set up tables to promote or sell their products. Our booths are specifically designed to support the event experience, including food and beverage service, ticketing, activities, and other festival operations. Many of these booths are staffed by local businesses and community organizations.

Limited opportunities may be available for businesses or vendors that fill a specific need for the event and complement the Oktoberfest experience. All opportunities are reviewed and approved by the Oktoberfest Committee.

  2. Where can I pick up tickets purchased online?
You can redeem your online tickets at one of the two ONLINE ticket redemption booths. One is located in front of Coffee Bean on the 2300 block of Honolulu Ave., and the second is in front of the T Room on the 2400 block of Honolulu Ave.
  3. Are dogs allowed?
No, due to our health permit, dogs are not allowed in food areas. Additionally, festivals can be uncomfortable for dogs because of the noise, crowds, and hot pavement, which can be harmful to their paws.
  4. Where can I buy Oktoberfest merchandise?
Oktoberfest T-shirts, bucket hats, shot glasses, and more can be purchased in person at the Merch Booth, located across from the Tarlani Parking lot on the 2300 block of Honolulu Ave.
  5. What time can I buy beer and wine until?
The last beer pour is at 9:45 PM.
  6. What time do the rides end?
The last time to queue for rides is at 9:45 PM to ensure everyone gets a chance to ride before the attractions close at 10 PM.
  7. Can I buy tickets online on the day of the event?
Yes, you can purchase tickets online on the day of the event to avoid long physical ticket lines. These tickets can be picked up at the two online ticket redemption booths.

The Montrose Chamber of Commerce was incorporated as an organization on November 10, 1922. Signers on the papers of organization were: James L. Brown, T.O. Potts, C.L. Mead, Mark S. Collins, Earl A. Haskins, M.D., and Kemper and Bernice Turner. The first president was James L. Brown. The city of Montrose was rapidly growing following World War I with a lively two block business district on Honolulu Ave. Then in 1925, Montrose's neighbor to the west, Verdugo City, came to be. On April 9, 1926, The Ledger newspaper favored Montrose to be incorporated with the City of Glendale and that was endorsed by the Montrose Chamber of Commerce at its largest meeting. Also endorsing incorporation were the Verdugo City Association of Commerce and the La Cresenta Chamber. Since Verdugo City had always been an area included in the Montrose Chamber of Commerce, in the 1960s the name was added to make the official title, "Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce". It was this Chamber that through the years has sponsored Oktoberfest among many other community events.
